One of our original partners in Nelson Mandela, a barrio outside of Cartegena with tremendous poverty has recently updated us that the program there is growing and has opened up opportunity for child and adult education. What started 5 years ago as a small street feeding program is now a school with over 130 young students who are being educated daily and a high school completion program for adults. Even more programs are in the works for Nelson Mandela. As with all growth there are complications, however we remain committed to our partners in Colombia and believe we will see even bigger changes in Cartegena in 2016.
